About the role

FILOIL GAS and ENERGY COMPANY, INC. is seeking an Operations Technician to join our dynamic team in Tondo, Manila City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our purchasing, procurement, and inventory management functions. As an Operations Technician, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day operational activities within our manufacturing, transport, and logistics division, directly contributing to the company's ability to deliver energy solutions effectively and reliably.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock records and timely replenishment of materials and supplies

• Assist in the coordination of purchasing and procurement activities, including receiving, inspecting, and documenting incoming goods

• Support the logistics operations by tracking shipments, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring compliance with operational procedures

• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and systems used in operations, reporting any issues or malfunctions promptly

• Prepare and maintain operational documentation, including inventory reports, procurement records, and logistical data

• Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to optimise storage, handling, and distribution of materials

• Conduct quality control inspections on products and materials to ensure they meet company standards

• Support the implementation of safety protocols and best practices across all operational areas

• Respond to operational queries and provide technical support to other departments as required

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience working as an Operations Technician, warehouse technician, or in a similar operations-focused role within manufacturing, logistics, or procurement environments

• Strong understanding of inventory management systems and procurement processes

• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) or similar operational software

• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards and best practices in industrial operations

• Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation

• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced operational environment

• Physical capability to perform the duties of the role, including standing for extended periods and handling materials

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

• Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in operations, logistics, or procurement are preferred

• Excellent communication skills in English and Filipino
