FILOIL Gas and Energy Company, Inc. seeks an experienced HR Compensation and Benefits professional to join our team in Taguig City, Metro Manila.

This full-time role focuses on developing and managing competitive remuneration and benefits programs to attract, retain, and motivate our workforce. You will ensure compliance with Philippine labour laws, perform market benchmarking, design comprehensive benefits packages, and collaborate with Finance and Payroll to deliver accurate compensation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Finance or related field.
• Up to 5 years' experience in compensation and benefits administration or HR roles with significant compensation responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine labour laws and compliance for compensation and benefits.
• Proficiency with compensation software systems and HRIS platforms.
• Excellent data interpretation and reporting skills.
• Professional certification such as CHRP or CIPD is preferred.
• Experience in energy, gas, or related sectors is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain compensation and benefits strategies aligned with goals and market benchmarks.
• Conduct salary benchmarking studies to ensure competitiveness.
• Design, implement, and administer health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness programs.
• Manage benefits enrolment and assist employees with eligibility, coverage, and claims.

About the role

Reporting to the HR Director, FILOIL Gas and Energy Company, Inc. is seeking an experienced HR Compensation and Benefits professional to join our Human Resources team in Taguig City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in developing, implementing, and managing compensation and benefits strategies that attract, retain, and motivate our talented workforce. As a key member of the HR function, you will be responsible for ensuring our remuneration packages remain competitive, compliant, and aligned with our organisational objectives and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining comprehensive compensation and benefits strategies that align with organisational goals and market benchmarks
• Conducting market research and salary benchmarking studies to ensure FILOIL's compensation packages remain competitive within the energy and gas sector
• Designing, implementing, and administering employee benefits programmes, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives
• Managing benefits enrolment processes and providing support to employees regarding benefits eligibility, coverage, and claims
• Ensuring compliance with relevant labour laws, regulations, and statutory requirements related to compensation and benefits in the Philippines
• Analysing compensation data and generating reports to support HR decision-making and senior management recommendations
• Collaborating with Finance and Payroll teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of compensation and benefits payments
• Developing and delivering training and communication programmes to educate employees about compensation structures and benefits offerings
• Reviewing and evaluating benefits provider contracts to optimise value and service quality
• Supporting the development of reward and recognition programmes that reinforce company culture and performance standards

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
• Maximum of 5 years' experience in compensation and benefits administration or HR roles with significant compensation and benefits responsibility
• Strong knowledge of Philippine labour laws, regulations, and compliance requirements related to compensation and benefits
• Proficiency in compensation and benefits software systems and HRIS platforms
• Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills with the ability to prepare clear, compelling reports
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing sensitive compensation and benefits information
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with employees at all levels
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of industry best practices in remuneration management and employee benefits design
• Professional certification such as CHRP, CIPD, or equivalent in Human Resources is preferred
• Experience in the energy, gas, or similar industrial sectors is advantageous
