Job summary

FILOIL GAS and ENERGY COMPANY, INC. invites applications for a terminal operator responsible for safe receipt, storage and transfer of petroleum products, operating pumps, valves, and related equipment at the Manila terminal.

The role requires a 4-year college degree, strong safety commitment, and the ability to coordinate with control room, ship crews, and maintenance teams; you will monitor flow, perform tank gauging, and maintain accurate reports.

Qualifications

• Graduate of at least a 4-year college course.
• Willing to work in a terminal/depot operational environment.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and environmental procedures.
• Able to follow established operating procedures and safety standards.
• Good observation, communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
• Willing to perform hands-on operational and equipment-related activities.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor pumps, valves, pipelines, loading arms, hoses, meters, tanks and other terminal equipment for safe product handling.
• Monitor product flow, pressure, temperature, and tank levels; perform tank gauging and line-up activities.
• Identify leaks, corrosion, abnormal noises or equipment issues; coordinate with maintenance for repairs.
• Strictly comply with safety, environmental, and operational procedures including JSA and Permit to Work.
• Respond to spills, leaks, emergencies; assist firefighting and spill containment; participate in drills.
• Maintain accurate records of product transfers, tank levels, inventory, logs, and shift handovers.
• Coordinate with supervisors, control room, ship crews, drivers, and maintenance teams for smooth operations.
• Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized; support inspections and continuous improvement.
