Qualifications

• Experience in operations or a similar role.
• Curiosity in project management, process improvement, business or related fields.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and exposure to data analysis.
• Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
• Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and dedication.
• Understanding of general insurance or financial services is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support to the Operations Manager to ensure the segments have proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures and systems in place.
• Manage issues and queries raised by the segments, ensuring standard processes are adhered to and opportunities for improvement identified.
• Design and maintain standard operating procedures for each segment, building a deep understanding of handoff points between the segment and supporting functions.
• Build strong working relationships through regular engagement with segment leaders and internal partners.
• Trend analysis and periodic reporting of business and operational performance metrics.
