Job summary

Billease Bank, Inc. (A Rural Bank) seeks an experienced Operational Risk Officer to develop and maintain the risk framework, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and strengthen controls in Makati. The role focuses on BSP compliance, risk identification, and governance to safeguard operations.

The candidate will lead RCSA activities, monitor KRIs, and drive risk reporting to senior management. A strong background in financial services risk with stakeholder management is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in Enterprise Risk Management and Operational Risk within banking, fintech, lending, or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of BSP operational risk regulations.
• Experience facilitating Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) and control assessments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Risk Management, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance the Enterprise Operational Risk Management Framework and other Operational Risk-related policies.
• Coordinate enterprise-wide operational risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting activities.
• Facilitate RCSA and monitor the implementation of risk mitigation plans.
• Maintain the operational risk register and monitor events, incidents, and KRIs.
• Review and assess the effectiveness of internal controls, recommending improvements.
• Prepare enterprise operational risk reports and dashboards for senior management and risk committees.
• Partner with business units to integrate operational risk management into processes and initiatives.
• Support development and implementation of enterprise risk policies, standards, and governance frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with BSP operational risk regulations and other regulatory requirements.
• Promote enterprise-wide risk awareness and a strong risk culture.
