Job summary

Flash Cargo Logistics Network Inc. is seeking a shift supervisor in Metro Manila to oversee manpower deployment per the load plan and supervise staff to complete tasks within set time norms.

You will ensure efficient operations across acceptance, build up, dispatch, pickup, and delivery, while enforcing company policies and safety standards in cargo handling.

Qualifications

• Must have a 4-year degree.
• Background in airline cargo handling.
• Ability to lead a group of people and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility of the shift in terms of deployment of manpower according to load plan, supervision of staff, work assignment and distribution, and tracking the work progress until completion within a specified time norm.
• Ensure efficiency of operations such as acceptance, build up, dispatch, pick up and delivery requirements are achieved.
• Ensure implementation of company policy/procedure and monitor compliance.
• Ensure correct procedures and equipment deployed for acceptance, storage, handling and loading of dangerous goods and other required special cargo load.
• Review load plans, identify cargo products requiring attention, and ensure maximum utilization of vehicles and warehouse space without compromising safety standards.
• Provide direction and guidance to Cargo Associate and team for anticipated situations to ensure load plan correctness and efficiency.
• Plan and communicate requirements to build-up team for loading of cargo for carriage on assigned carrier with confirmed booking in accordance to priorities and volume.

Job scope:

4. Ensure correct procedures and equipment deployed for acceptance, storage, handling and loading of dangerous goods and other required special cargo load.
5. Review load plans, identify cargo products requiring attention, and ensure maximum utilization of vehicles and warehouse space without compromising, operational safety standard.
6. Provide direction and guidance to Cargo Associate and entire team for any anticipated situation in order to ensure that load plan or sequence of loading is executed efficiently.
7. Plan and communicate requirements to build-up team for loading of cargo for carriage on assigned carrier (air, sea, land) with confirmed booking in accordance to priorities, commitment, and volume, space allocation / availability to ensureoptimum utilization capacity.
