Job summary

Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) is seeking a Business Development Officer to support the department head in achieving goals. The role leads the Digital Channel Group's exploration of new ecosystems, adoption of innovative use cases, and translates them into value-creating processes for the bank.

You will develop strategic partnerships to offer value-generating engagements from DCG's Open banking offerings, and collaborate with Platforms, IT, and support groups to incubate and turnover

Qualifications

• Graduation in a 4-year business-related field; postgraduate is an advantage.
• At least 2 years in Marketing, Product/Project Management, or Business Development.
• IT background and experience is a plus.
• Must have knowledge in Project Management.
• Proficient in oral and written communication.
• Able to apply sound problem-solving techniques to various situations.
• Good organizational skills and can work effectively.

Responsibilities

• Explores ecosystems and innovative use cases.
• Evaluates initiatives of government, financial industry players, FinTechs for adoption by the bank.
• Adopts innovations into business processes that create value for the enterprise.
• Creates business requirements and works with Platforms, IT, and support groups to evaluate feasibility, delivery, and BAU support.
• Expands revenue streams by exploring new solutions to partners and business needs; studies profitability and key drivers.
• Leads enhancements and integration monitoring.
• Reviews business requirements to ensure consistent partner experience and endorses to Systems and Projects for technical development.
• Manages API Partners during integration and handles inquiries.
• Addresses concerns, complaints and suggestions raised by Partners to ensure synergy between Bank and Partners.
