Qualifications

• Previous recruitment or resourcing experience, ideally within blue-collar, mining, construction, civil or labour-hire environments.
• Experience recruiting machine operators and other blue-collar positions.
• Experience working with Australian clients is a plus.
• Experience using recruitment systems or an ATS (i.e., JobAdder) is a plus.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills; proficiency in using Microsoft Outlook.
• Confident conducting candidate shortlisting, reference checks and initial phone screening.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume recruitment environment.
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Source and identify suitable candidates for blue-collar and machine operator vacancies.
• Review applications and shortlist candidates against role requirements.
• Conduct initial phone screens to assess experience, availability and suitability.
• Complete candidate reference checks and document outcomes.
• Assist with candidate registrations, onboarding and pre-employment requirements.
• Verify relevant licences, tickets, qualifications and work experience.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records within the recruitment database/ATS.
• Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process and provide timely updates.
• Build and maintain talent pools for frequently recruited positions.
• Provide general administrative and coordination support to the recruitment team.
