Job summary

NTT DATA Philippines is seeking an Onsite Support Engineer (L1) to join our IT services team in Taguig, Metro Manila. The role focuses on hands-on desktop support, incident resolution, and ensuring IT operations run smoothly for end users.

You'll handle tickets within SLA, support data center and network operations, and collaborate with vendors for escalations while building strong customer service skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduates with a 2-year IT-related course or higher.
• Minimum 1 year of end-user support in ITES/BPO.
• Strong troubleshooting and IT infrastructure knowledge.
• Experience with desktop, telecom, and data center environments.
• Familiarity with network devices and server hardware.
• ITIL, CompTIA A+, CCNA, or Microsoft certs are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve service tickets and requests within SLA targets.
• Provide hands-on desktop support for laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, and mobile devices.
• Install, configure, upgrade, relocate, and decommission end-user devices.
• Troubleshoot hardware, operating systems, Microsoft Office apps, browsers, and business applications.
• Support data center, hub room, and network operations, including equipment installation, maintenance, upgrades, and cabling.
• Provide smart-hand support for server, infrastructure, and network teams.
• Coordinate with vendors for repairs, warranty claims, and escalations.
• Support IT projects, technology refreshes, migrations, transitions, and infrastructure rollouts.
• Maintain asset inventories, CMDB records, and change-management compliance.
• Assist with network troubleshooting using tools such as Wireshark.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• Graduate of a 2-year IT-related course or higher
• At least 1 year of experience in end-user support, Data Center/Hub Room operations, and smart-hand support within an ITES/BPO environment
• Strong troubleshooting skills with solid technical knowledge of IT infrastructure
• Experience supporting desktop, telecom, and data center environments
• Working knowledge of network devices, server hardware, and related technologies
• Familiarity with IT service delivery and operational standards
• ITIL, CompTIA A+, CCNA, or Microsoft certifications are an advantage
