Responsibilities

• Manage the rents payable inbox, ensuring emails are monitored and cleared on time.
• Process landlord invoices for rent and lease charges per lease agreements.
• Calculate and process percentage rent, capped deals, and other variance rent arrangements.
• Prepare quarterly sales audit letters and supporting documentation for Review by Group Financial Controller.
• Collaborate with the Leasing team to resolve discrepancies and ensure alignment between lease terms and financial records.
• Set up new vendors and maintain vendor records, including banking and contact details.
• Generate and distribute remittance advices to suppliers after payment runs.
• Liaise with landlords and property managers to respond to payment queries and resolve discrepancies.
• Reconcile landlord statements and rent accounts; investigate discrepancies.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes and ensure accurate AP transactions and accruals.
• Assist with monthly rent analysis and budget vs actual variance analysis.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations (prepaid rent and rent accrual).
• Complete month-end and year-end journals accurately and on time.
• Contribute to external audits by providing documentation and explanations as required.
