Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking an IT professional to join the Onsite Operations team, supporting IT infrastructure at the PTC site. The role requires strong troubleshooting, good communication, and the ability to handle escalated incidents.

You will provide desktop and server support, collaborate with the onsite operations team, and maintain detailed IT documentation, ensuring smooth operation of infrastructure in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Experience supporting Windows environments; knowledge of Linux is an advantage.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide desktop and server support to optimize IT infrastructure.
• Handle Level 2 end-user support escalated from Level 1.
• Work closely with onsite operations team to configure, troubleshoot, and monitor systems.
• Manage incidents and escalated complex issues as needed.
• Follow standard escalation procedures and ensure issue resolution.
• Maintain IT documentation, including infrastructure and inventory records.
