Onsite IT Support (Antique Branch)
The Branch Onsite IT Support is responsible for providing technical support to branch operations through onsite and remote troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, system deployments, and IT asset management. The role ensures IT systems, devices, and peripherals are operational, secure, and properly documented.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support
- Respond to IT support tickets, emails, and service requests from branch users.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, printer, and peripheral issues.
- Provide onsite and remote technical assistance to branch personnel.
- Escalate complex or critical issues to senior support teams when necessary.
System Deployment & Maintenance
- Perform onsite software updates, system releases, and configuration deployments, especially for remote or offline branches.
- Conduct preventive maintenance activities and regular IT health checks.
- Verify system functionality after deployments and maintenance activities.
Equipment & Asset Management
- Assist with the installation, replacement, and retrieval of IT equipment.
- Ensure all IT assets are properly tagged and documented.
- Validate asset information and report missing or damaged equipment.
Documentation & Ticket Management
- Maintain accurate records of troubleshooting activities, resolutions, and time spent in the ITSM system.
- Update and close tickets only after confirming issue resolution with users.
- Attach supporting documentation and evidence as required.
Compliance & User Support
- Follow company IT policies, security standards, and safety procedures.
- Report security, data privacy, or compliance concerns promptly.
- Provide basic IT guidance and support to end users on proper use of devices and systems.
Additional Support
- Assist with CCTV maintenance and data retrieval when required.
- Support basic electrical connectivity checks related to IT equipment.
- Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and peripheral devices.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Willing to travel and provide onsite support to branch locations.
- Ability to work independently and follow established procedures.
