Job summary

Iron Systems, Inc is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide on-site second-line IT support at customer locations. You will diagnose, repair, and document incidents, help with device hardware and software, and assist end users with IT-related requests.

The role covers Windows and Mac environments, printers and conferencing equipment, and requires good communication and a customer-focused approach. Training will be provided to stay current with technology.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years' experience in a similar IT support environment.
• Experience with Windows and Mac desktops and common software.
• Familiarity with printers, conferencing equipment, and peripherals.

Responsibilities

• Provide second-line on-site desktop support at customer locations.
• Install, upgrade, troubleshoot Windows/Mac and standard software.
• Maintain device hardware and software, including peripherals.
• Record requests and resolve incidents, escalating when needed.
• Create and publish end-user support documentation.
• Attend training to stay current with technology and processes.
• Assist SME teams with incident diagnosis and resolution.
• Maintain high level of customer service and effective communication.
