Job summary

Astrophysics Asia Inc. seeks a Service Engineer to perform on-site installation, preventive and corrective maintenance for supported equipment at various customer sites in the Philippines. This role requires extensive travelling and a valid passport.

Responsibilities include installations, testing, maintenance, documentation, and customer education to identify needs and resolve issues. Strong adherence to Quality Management System documents is expected.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electronic units and systems.
• Ability to complete service reports and documentation on time.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work on-site at customer locations.

Responsibilities

• Follow Quality Management System documents and achieve Quality Policy and Objectives.
• Provide phone and on-site support, responding promptly to service calls.
• Conduct installations, preventive and corrective maintenance on XIS machines.
• Inspect components and verify proper assembly, installation and defect-free operation.
• Complete Installation Reports including Radiation Survey and Performance Checks.
• Educate users and troubleshoot to identify needs and problems.
• Perform scheduled maintenance to prevent issues and prolong equipment life.
• Test faulty equipment to diagnose malfunctions with test equipment/software.
• Maintain thorough communication with the Customer Service Call Center while traveling.
