Job summary

Oxford Instruments is seeking a Field Service Engineer in the Philippines to install, maintain and train customers on Nano Analysis products including Raman Microscopy, AFM, EDS, EBSD, and Nanomanipulators. Travel and on-site support across SE Asia will be required.

The role involves collaborating with Sales for maintenance contracts, delivering demonstrations, and generating field reports while ensuring customer satisfaction and high service quality.

Qualifications

• Material Science or Engineering degree essential; Master’s/PhD desirable.
• Experience with Raman Microscopy and AFM; SEM/EDS/EBSD a plus.
• Field service experience with analytical instruments in a Nanotech environment.
• English language proficiency (spoken and written).
• PC knowledge both hardware and software; clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain assigned systems; provide on-site training.
• Support sales by promoting maintenance contracts and service products.
• Demonstrate equipment and provide post-sales support.
• Prepare and submit field service/incident reports and documentation.
