Job summary

Oxford Instruments in Manila, Philippines, seeks a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain and train customers on Raman Microscopy, AFM and related nanotech systems across SE Asia.

You will collaborate with Sales, demonstrate equipment, and build strong customer relationships while ensuring service quality and timely responses. Travel up to 60% and driving license are preferred requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have experience of working with Raman Microscopy and Atomic Force Microscopy.
• SEM, EDS, EBSD experience will be a compliment.
• English language proficiency is required.
• Ability to travel extensively, up to 60% of time.
• Commercially astute with a driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and ensure the correct operation of assigned systems and provide on-site training.
• Co-operate with Sales and take part in pre-sales demos and seminars when needed.
• Maintain relationships with customers, OEMs and distributors and project a professional image.
• Initiate field service reports documenting issues and their resolutions.
• Travel as required to customer sites and support field service activities.
