Job summary

Applied Materials, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, and upgrade customer equipment at Clark Freeport Zone in the Philippines.

You will collaborate with Senior Field Service Engineers and use digital analytics to troubleshoot a variety of systems. Responsibilities include performing preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate degree or technical certification.
• 1–2 years in customer/field service or related technical field.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Able to diagnose and resolve basic technical challenges with guidance.
• Basic mechanical aptitude in pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum or thermodynamics.
• Familiar with hand tools and digital multimeters.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and upgrade customer equipment in collaboration with Senior Field Service Engineers.
• Use digital analytics for troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems (training provided).
• Coordinate and communicate directly with customers to ensure smooth operations.
• Fulfill additional duties as assigned by senior engineers.
