Job summary

Five Star Nursing in Bacoor City, Cavite seeks an On-Call Coordinator to support day-to-day coordination of healthcare staff and urgent staffing needs.

You will manage on-call schedules, coordinate coverage, document staffing activities, and communicate clearly with staff to keep operations calm and organized in a fast-paced environment. The role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and flexibility for extended hours and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
• Experience in scheduling, staffing coordination, recruitment, healthcare operations, customer service, or admin roles is an advantage.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize urgent requests effectively.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and handling time-sensitive situations.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate records.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Willingness to learn scheduling, communication, and staffing systems.
• Must be onsite in Bacoor City, Cavite.
• Must be flexible with weekends, holidays, or extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate on-call schedules for healthcare staff.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for urgent staffing and coverage requirements.
• Coordinate staff replacements and ensure appropriate coverage for open shifts.
• Communicate with healthcare staff regarding schedules, availability, assignments, and schedule changes.
• Monitor on-call activities and follow up on pending staffing requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of schedules, coverage, call-outs, replacements, and other staffing-related activities.
• Ensure staffing updates and changes are communicated promptly to the appropriate teams.
• Escalate urgent staffing concerns, attendance issues, and other operational matters to management.
• Assist with administrative and operational tasks related to staffing coordination.
• Prepare and maintain reports related to on-call activities and staffing coverage.
• Follow established procedures, client requirements, and company policies.
• Perform other duties related to staffing coordination and operations as assigned.
