Universal Robina Corporation is looking for a Learning & Development Officer.
The Learning and Development (L&D) Officer is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating learning and development initiatives that support organizational capability building and business objectives. The role partners with leaders and stakeholders to identify training needs, develop effective learning solutions, manage learning programs, and drive employee development initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Learning Needs Analysis and Stakeholder Management
- Partner with business leaders and HR teams to conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and identify capability gaps across functions.
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to align learning initiatives with organizational priorities and workforce requirements.
- Analyze training data and feedback to recommend appropriate learning interventions and development strategies.
Learning Program Design and Development
- Design and develop learning curricula, training modules, and development programs based on identified business and employee needs.
- Create engaging learning materials, facilitator guides, presentations, and assessment tools using adult learning principles.
- Continuously enhance learning programs by incorporating innovative methodologies and digital learning solutions.
Training Facilitation and Delivery
- Facilitate learning sessions, workshops, orientations, and capability-building programs for employees and leaders.
- Coordinate and manage end-to-end training implementation, including scheduling, logistics, participant communications, and evaluations.
- Monitor participant engagement and learning effectiveness to ensure achievement of desired outcomes.
Program Management and Evaluation
- Manage multiple learning and development projects simultaneously while ensuring timely and effective execution.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback mechanisms, and post-training impact measurements.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and recommendations to continuously improve learning programs and employee development initiatives.
Learning Operations and Continuous Improvement
- Maintain training records, learning documentation, and development trackers.
- Support the implementation and administration of learning systems and digital learning initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve learning processes, systems, and employee development experiences.
- Perform other learning and development-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Behavioral Sciences, Business Administration, Education, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
- At least two (2) to three (3) years of relevant experience in Learning and Development, Training, Organizational Development, or related HR functions.
- Proven experience in training facilitation, program management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience in conducting Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and developing learning interventions.
- Demonstrated ability to design and develop training programs, learning materials, and capability-building initiatives.
- Strong project management, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and learning technologies or digital learning platforms.
- Experience in delivering technical training programs within a manufacturing environment is an advantage but not required.
