Job summary

RELX is seeking a senior leader to unify the Cloud Observability Engineering and ServiceNow teams in Manila. You will set priorities, coach engineers, and serve as the primary escalation point to ensure timely delivery of initiatives.

You will oversee instrumentation across Coralogix, CloudWatch, OpenTelemetry, and emerging platforms, drive cost-aware telemetry, and partner with SRE, platform, and ITSM teams to align standards, dashboards, and SLIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience supervising or leading a technical team (observability, SRE, platform engineering, or ITSM).
• Strong knowledge of observability fundamentals: metrics, traces, logs, and context propagation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Cloud Observability Engineering and ServiceNow Admin/Dev teams, setting priorities and allocating work.
• Oversee instrumentation across platforms and drive standardized telemetry collection with OpenTelemetry.
• Represent teams in planning, budgeting, roadmaps, and vendor discussions; report performance and platform health to leadership.
