Job summary

onsemi Philippines in Lapu-Lapu City seeks an experienced Lead NPI Engineer to drive end-to-end NPI execution, ensure first-time-right builds, and safely launch new products across cross-functional teams.

You will guide engineers and technicians, manage planning, PE, IE, QA, and supply chain interfaces, monitor KPIs like yield, cycle time, and cost, and ensure PPAP and QMS compliance throughout early builds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required.
• 8–10 years experience in semiconductor or electronics manufacturing.
• At least 3 years in leadership roles handling NPI, PE, ME, or technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive NPI execution, readiness, builds, and MP handover.
• Deliver KPIs: OTS/OTC, Safe Launch Yield, Engg Cycle Time, EBR hit rate, Rel first pass hit rate.
• Lead issue containment and yield improvement.
• Facilitate daily/weekly cross‑functional NPI meetings to track risks and remove roadblocks.
• Lead, coach, and develop NPI Engineers and NPI Technicians to strengthen technical and leadership competencies.
• Strengthen cross-functional collaboration.
• Ensure QMS/IATF/PPAP compliance and documentation.
• NPI Library / uBOM implementation.
• Cost / Quality Improvement
