Job summary

Nexperia in Cabuyao, Philippines, is seeking an NPI Engineer to lead new product introductions and process changes within the R&D area, interfacing with Business Groups and the Cabuyao site to meet quality, cost, and schedule targets.

You'll drive NPI projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage documentation such as DFM, MRAT, and Safe Launch, and deploy changes into production while maintaining a focus on manufacturability and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Project Management fundamentals.
• Familiar with SPC, DOE, FMEA and DFM methodologies.
• Proficient with MS Office; JMP or Minitab is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Familiar with Six Sigma and/or 8D problem-solving methodologies.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills across functions.
• Customer-focused, innovative and results-driven mindset.
• Willing to travel when required.

Responsibilities

• Manage Simple to Standard Track NPI projects per Change Control requirements.
• Coordinate with Business Groups, Quality, Operations, and Management for project execution.
• Drive milestones and deliverables like RACI, DFM, Release Checklist, CNP, MRAT and Safe Launch.
• Deploy product and process changes into the production environment.
• Plan Safe Launch, deployment and tracking activities.
• Coordinate project resources and logistics.
• Characterize processes, materials, products and manufacturing interactions as needed.
• Support yield improvement, cost reduction via MVA/ DVA initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership to engineers and cross-functional teams.
• Generate project reports and meeting minutes.
