Job summary

SecureOps Inc. is seeking a NOC Support Technician to join a 24/7 team in the Philippines. You will monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot network issues, providing first-level support for LAN and carrier networks while escalating complex problems appropriately.

The role emphasizes strong English communication, CCNA-level networking knowledge, and familiarity with ServiceNow/Jira for ticketing. Night shift rotation is included as part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• Strong English communication skills (oral and written).
• Cisco CCNA or equivalent networking knowledge.
• Knowledge of CompTIA A+, Microsoft MCP or Linux skills is desirable.
• Previous Network Security Experience/Knowledge is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Handle the prompt resolution of all escalations and urgent requests from clients in a 24/7 environment.
• Provide first level network support and front-line customer support for LAN and Carrier Network issues.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues across a wide range of devices (routers, switches, and other communication devices).
• Monitor the operational support systems to proactively identify service-impacting events.
• Escalate problems to the appropriate teams within the company or external vendors as required to achieve resolution.
• Utilize network diagrams to support effective troubleshooting. Keep current on industry products and technologies available for communications (e.g. Internet services, protocols and networking equipment).
• Utilize ServiceNow and/or Jira to log all requests and activities.
• Produce and update process and support documentation.
