Job summary

Booth in the Philippines is seeking a Systems and Network Engineer to join our team. The role focuses on Linux system and network engineering, with responsibilities spanning architecture discussions, network and systems administration, and on-call rotations.

You will administer Linux servers, configure hardware and vendor firewalls, and script as needed using Bash or Python. Experience with SaltStack is a plus, and strong IP networking knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a Linux system and network engineer.
Strong knowledge of Linux including package management, services, and security.
Extensive IP networking knowledge and network design.
Scripting with Bash or Python preferred.
Experience with configuration management systems such as SaltStack preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Professional services work and on-call experience are a bonus.

Responsibilities

Participate in architectural discussions related to deployments.
Network administration of hardware infrastructure and Linux-based routers, plus vendor firewalls.
Systems administration of Linux servers.
Scripting as required.
Coordinate escalations to vendors.
Be part of the 24/7 on-call rotation.
Perform professional services engagements with partners.
Perform additional duties within the skill set.
