Job summary

APW Tech in the Philippines seeks a seasoned network engineer to design, implement, and troubleshoot enterprise networks. You will work with TCP/IP, VLANs, and Layer 2/3 switching, including MPLS-TP, OSPF, and BGP, across multi-vendor devices.

The role requires hands-on experience with Cisco and Juniper devices, strong cybersecurity knowledge (firewalls, VPNs, NAC, SIEM), and familiarity with Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, and NMS.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of enterprise networking including TCP/IP, VLANs, and Layer 2/3 switching.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco and/or Juniper devices; configuration and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity solutions such as firewalls, VPNs, NAC, and SIEM.
• Familiarity with Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, and Network Management Systems (NMS).
• Experience in system integration, FAT/SIT/FSIT or commissioning activities.
• Ability to read technical specifications, interface documents, and network diagrams.
• Knowledge of fiber optic systems and basic testing tools (Ethernet tester, OTDR, power meter).
• Capable of troubleshooting complex issues across multiple systems and coordinating with disciplines.
• Knowledge of Master Clock (GNSS, NTP).
