Job summary

Tasq Work is actively seeking a strategic Corporate Controller in the Philippines to lead a growing accounting function within a private equity‑backed SaaS company. The role demands CPA credentials, technical accounting excellence, and a track record of building scalable finance teams.

You will manage multiple entities, oversee revenue recognition, controls, audits, and lender reporting while partnering with FP&A on budgeting and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• CPA license required.
• Bachelor’s in accounting; MBA or advanced degree a plus.
• 3–5 years total accounting experience in a leadership role (Controller or Assistant Controller).

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements for multiple entities.
• Validate revenue recognition under ASC 606 for SaaS and other revenue types.
• Prepare journal entries for accruals, depreciation, reallocations and deferrals.
• Review General Ledger and maintain balance sheet reconciliations.
• Validate subscription, unit, and service revenue and adjust as needed.
• Approve employee expense reports via Concur.
• Manage AR aging and coordinate with Client Success on overdue invoices.
• Oversee cash management and bank reconciliations; monitor covenants.
• Coordinate annual audits across jurisdictions and support tax/advisory work.
• Support investor reporting and collaboration with FP&A on budgeting and variance analysis.
• Lead ERP and billing system improvements (Sage Intacct, Maxio, Tipalti).
• Mentor accounting team and foster accountability and cross-functional collaboration.
