Job summary

Tasq Work in Taguig is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support financial reporting and close processes. The role combines hybrid work after an initial training period, with onsite training in McKinley Taguig and a night shift schedule.

You will prepare balance sheets and P&L, conduct reconciliations, assist audits, and mentor junior staff while maintaining strong controls and ERP system proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (or related field) required.
• CPA preferred but not mandatory.
• Excellent Excel skills and experience with ERP systems are essential.

Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & Closure: Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings by preparing balance sheets and P&L statements.
• Reconciliations & Ledger Maintenance: Reconcile balance sheet accounts, bank accounts, and credit cards, ensuring general ledger accuracy.
• Compliance & Audits: Prepare documentation for audits, ensure tax compliance, and maintain strong financial controls.
• Analytical Support: Analyze financial statements to identify discrepancies and provide variance analyses for informed management decisions.
• Supervision: Mentor junior staff through training and support to ensure high performance and growth.
