Job summary

General Motors Philippines seeks a Production Support Engineer to provide production support, monitoring, troubleshooting, and technical administration for enterprise applications and data flows.

You will collaborate with application, database, and integration teams to resolve issues, perform incident management, and contribute to continuous improvement while on a 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM night shift in a hybrid setting in Metro Manila.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field; equivalent practical experience may be considered.
• 3-5 years of experience in system administration, production support, infrastructure operations, database operations, application support, data integration, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Implement and support enterprise systems, applications, infrastructure services, databases, integrations, scheduled jobs, and data flows in accordance with approved procedures.
• Monitor health, analyze alerts and logs to identify faults, performance issues, and risks.
• Triage and resolve production incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate with stakeholders for resolution.
