General Motors in the Philippines is seeking a Production Support Senior Engineer to provide end-to-end production support for enterprise applications, infrastructure services, and data flows. The role focuses on system stability, security, and timely issue resolution across multiple technology services.

You will partner with IT stakeholders to align priorities, manage operational activities, and deliver reliable, sustainment-focused technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, data management, or related field.
• 5–8 years of production support, application support, infrastructure operations, database operations, or data integration.
• Strong SQL proficiency with Oracle/SQL Server/PostgreSQL/DB2/Etc, data-quality validation.
• ETL and data integration experience, including batch processing, file transfers, and API integrations.
• Working knowledge of REST APIs, JSON/XML, middleware, and interface debugging.
• ITIL or equivalent service-management practices; incident, change, and release management.
• Willingness to work on night shift (8:00 PM to 5:00 PM PH).

Responsabilités

• Provide end-to-end production support for enterprise applications, infrastructure services, databases, integrations, and data flows.
• Monitor health and performance of applications, infrastructure, databases, integrations, and scheduled jobs; analyze alerts and metrics.
• Lead production-incident responses from triage through resolution and perform root-cause analysis.
• Administer user and service-account access, roles, permissions, and security controls.
• Support database and data-integration operations, including SQL execution, ETL, and data validation.
• Support releases, upgrades, migrations, deployments, and rollback with prerequisite validation.
