Job summary

Cohu, Inc. is seeking a Night Shift Production Supervisor in Laguna, Philippines to oversee night operations, drive on-time fulfillment, and ensure quality and cost targets are met.

The role collaborates with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to maintain production flow, coach staff, and implement Lean and Six Sigma improvements in a high-precision, high-mix manufacturing environment. Strong emphasis on safety, documentation, and cross-functional communication during handovers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• At least six years in manufacturing with mechanical assemblies and three years in a supervisory role.
• Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with ISO 9001 and statistical tools.
• Strong data analytics, statistics, knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, SPC and DOE; excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Support and coordinate night shift operations to meet on-time order fulfillment with quality and cost targets.
• Work with cross-functional teams during the night shift to ensure smooth production flow and issue resolution.
• Ensure execution of production plans to meet daily, weekly, and quarterly throughput targets and capacity.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and process control.
• Lead, coach and develop night shift staff; assign work and monitor performance.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain and other departments to resolve issues.
• Maintain production records, comply with policies and safety standards, and ensure shift handovers are effective.
