Job summary

PM Consulting is seeking Healthcare Support Associates to join our growing healthcare operations team in Manila, onsite in Pasig/Ortigas. This role requires night shift work and a commitment to accurate, compliant patient support.

Responsibilities include scheduling, pre-registration, insurance verification, and financial clearance, with strong emphasis on customer service and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of BPO experience supporting a healthcare account.
• Experience in Scheduling, Pre-Registration, Insurance Verification, Financial Clearance, or healthcare admin functions is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls related to patient appointments, registration, insurance, and financial inquiries.
• Schedule, reschedule, or cancel patient appointments as needed.
• Complete patient pre-registration by verifying demographic, insurance, and medical information.
• Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and obtain required authorizations when applicable.
• Assist patients with financial clearance by reviewing coverage, payment responsibilities, and available payment options.
• Accurately update patient records and document all interactions in the appropriate systems.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and internal departments to ensure timely resolution of patient requests.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, company policies, and healthcare regulations.
• Meet established productivity, quality, and customer service metrics.
• Perform other administrative and healthcare support duties as assigned.
