Qualifications

• High school graduate with at least 1 year in healthcare revenue cycle, insurance verification, or related patient support.
• Experience in healthcare customer service or RCM environments preferred.
• Familiarity with patient registration, billing, and collections is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage.
• Obtain authorizations, referrals, and pre-certifications.
• Review medical necessity and document requirements.
• Estimate patient financial responsibility and out-of-pocket costs.
• Contact patients to verify demographics, insurance, and financial data.
• Educate on benefits, billing, payment options, and financial assistance.
• Process payments and assist with payment arrangements.
• Complete MSP requirements and related docs.
• Maintain accurate patient records per standards.
• Follow privacy, compliance, and data security protocols.
• Escalate accounts not meeting clearance requirements.
• Deliver excellent customer service for patient inquiries.
