Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in healthcare administration, customer service, or related field.
• 2–3 years of scheduling or healthcare administration experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with healthcare terminology and scheduling systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic data entry.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for patients, staff, and providers, offering prompt support
• Assist with scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming patient appointments
• Answer questions about appointments, services, and policies
• Verify insurance details and obtain necessary authorizations where required
• Document appointments accurately in the system and coordinate with internal teams
• Maintain confidential records in compliance with HIPAA
• Collaborate with admins and providers to ensure smooth workflow
