Job summary

Global Virtuoso, Inc. is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage high-volume transactions for properties in the hospitality sector. You will ensure timely accrual reversals, verify end-of-month postings, and reconcile multiple ledgers against PMS reports.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, 3–5 years in hotel/hospitality accounting, and strong Excel/ERP skills. Night shifts and weekend work may be required, based in Makati.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience handling high-volume accounting transactions in hotel, tourism, and hospitality for a global brand.
• Knowledge of GAAP and reporting guidelines.
• Ability to apply IT tools (Microsoft Office) to accounting duties.
• Excel proficiency: VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, charts.
• ERP system experience preferred.
• Willing to work night shifts and holidays/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Reverse prior month accruals and verify postings of end-of-month entries.
• Confirm receipt of month-end reports from the property (Inventory reports, PMS report, etc.).
• Reconcile guest, city and advance deposit ledgers with PMS reports before prelims submission.
• Post accrual entries for Interest Expense, Asset Management Fee, Franchise, Utilities, CC commissions, Payroll, Worker Comp Insurance, PTO.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliation schedules for all Balance Sheet accounts.
• Review Balance Sheet schedules, research variances, and reconcile open items.
• Review Income Journal daily to ensure it is balanced.
• Perform bank reconciliations using Adra Matcher.
• Manage exceptions (unreconciled items) and resolve them in Adra Matcher.
