Job summary

Agocareers in Manila, Philippines is seeking a seasoned accounting professional for a night-shift role from 1:00 AM to 10:00 AM, Tuesday through Saturday. The position focuses on complex bookkeeping, reconciliations, and client reporting.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Accountancy, CPA is a plus, 4–6 years of finance/accounting experience, and strong English communication with MS Office and ERP proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or equivalent experience.
• Certified Public Accountant is a plus.
• 4–6 years in Finance/Accounting.

Responsibilities

• Performs moderately complex bookkeeping and accounting tasks.
• Review of general ledger activity and prepare account reconciliations.
• Identifies accrual levels and processes adjusting entries.
• Assist or run and package monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for client.
• Prepares monthly account reconciliations.
• Resolve/reconcile discrepancies and coordinate with respective team members as necessary.
• Communicates with the client of any issues or concerns encountered.
• Develop understanding of client industries and identify value-added recommendations.
• Collaborate with team to plan engagement timelines and risk assessments.
• Foster efficient, innovative, and team-oriented environment.
• Provide supervision, mentorship and training to staff.
• Lead as in-charge in smaller engagements.
• Perform research on technical accounting issues.
• Other projects as assigned.
