Job summary

GECO Asia Pte. Ltd is seeking a Tier 1 Network Operations Engineer to monitor, troubleshoot, and support enterprise WAN/LAN, Wireless, and data center networks. You will work with global teams, resolve incidents, and ensure SLA commitments while maintaining documentation and runbooks.

The role emphasizes hands-on support for Cisco IOS, NX-OS, Palo Alto firewalls, F5 BIG-IP, and SD-WAN environments, with a focus on continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Active CCNA with 3+ years of Network Operations experience.
• Strong understanding of the OSI model and TCP/IP.
• Solid knowledge of IPv4 and theoretical IPv6 concepts.
• Experience with dynamic routing protocols: BGP, ISIS, OSPF, EIGRP.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network events, alerts, and incidents using established procedures.
• Manage incidents and service requests from creation to resolution within SLA.
• Provide support for routers, switches, load balancers, firewalls, and wireless tech.
• Participate in bridge calls and contribute to troubleshooting and escalation.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for timely resolution.
• Perform routine maintenance, changes, and operational tasks.
• Create and maintain KBs, runbooks, SOPs, and network diagrams.
