GECO Asia Pte. Ltd is seeking a Tier 1 Network Operations Engineer to monitor, troubleshoot, and support enterprise WAN/LAN, Wireless, and data center networks. You will work with global teams, resolve incidents, and ensure SLA commitments while maintaining documentation and runbooks.

Monitor and respond to network events, alerts, and incidents using established procedures and operational tools
Manage incidents and service requests from creation through resolution while meeting SLA commitments
Provide support for routers, switches, load balancers, firewalls, and wireless technologies
Participate in technical bridge calls and contribute to incident troubleshooting and escalation activities
Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to drive timely issue resolution
Perform routine maintenance, scheduled changes, and operational tasks
Support proactive and reactive monitoring using enterprise monitoring and analytics platforms
Create and maintain documentation including Knowledge Base articles, runbooks, SOPs, playbooks, and network diagrams
Execute effective shift handovers and maintain accurate operational records
Contribute to process improvements, operational efficiency initiatives, and documentation enhancements
Continuously develop technical skills through training, collaboration, and self-learning
Active CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)
At least 3 years of solid Network Operations support experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Strong understanding of the OSI Model and TCP/IP Protocol Suite
Solid knowledge of IPv4 and theoretical understanding of IPv6
Strong knowledge of dynamic routing protocols including BGP, ISIS, OSPF, and EIGRP
Experience with network operating systems such as:
Cisco IOS
IOS-XR
IOS-XE
NX-OS
PAN-OS
F5 BIG-IP
Hands-on experience with network platforms including:
Cisco Catalyst, ISR, ASR, and Nexus
Cisco and Aruba Wireless solutions
Palo Alto Firewalls and Management Platforms
F5 BIG-IP platforms including iSeries, Viprion, LTM, DNS, and APM
Experience supporting enterprise connectivity technologies such as:
