GECO Asia Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Network Firewall Engineer – Tier II to maintain and optimize enterprise network security and Palo Alto deployments.

You will configure, manage, and troubleshoot firewalls within a complex environment, and participate in incident response and root-cause analysis. The role requires 5–7 years of hands-on Palo Alto experience, PCNSE/PCNSA certification, and strong skills in packet capture, log analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to strengthen

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
5–7 years hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls, routing and switching, and Cisco security technologies.
PCNSE or PCNSA certification required; CCNA/CCNP Security is a plus.
Experience with packet capture, log management, monitoring and troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, Splunk, Syslog, ServiceNow, Netcool, SevOne).

Responsibilities

Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Palo Alto Networks firewalls within a complex enterprise environment.
Monitor and respond to network security events, incidents, and escalations as a Tier II support resource.
Perform firewall policy management, security rule reviews, and change implementations.
Support network routing, switching, and Cisco security technologies to ensure optimal network performance and security.
Investigate and resolve network and security issues using tools such as Wireshark, Splunk, Syslog, ServiceNow, Netcool, and SevOne.
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and security teams to implement best practices and strengthen network security posture.
Document technical procedures, incident resolutions, and infrastructure changes.
Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
