Job summary

Uc Bcf is seeking a motivated student or graduate to join its IT/Network Operations team. You will monitor core network health using SolarWinds and ThousandEyes, validate alerts, perform basic diagnostics, and escalate complex issues to NOC Engineers.

You will assist in generating network performance metrics, track device inventory, and help maintain knowledge base entries and documentation. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, onsite, with a People First culture and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a degree program in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, OSI model, DNS/DHCP, subnetting, and routing/switching.
• Basic familiarity with network diagnostic tools such as ping, traceroute, and Wireshark.
