Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain rosters in line with participant support requirements, service agreements, and staff availability
  • Ensure rostering complies with SCHADS Award provisions, including minimum shift times, breaks, and maximum hours
  • Monitor and action roster changes, including cancellations, shift replacements, and emergency coverage
  • Ensure timely coverage of shifts and monitor staff availability
  • Liaise with support staff and participants to confirm shifts and resolve roster conflicts or queries
  • Ensure appropriate matching of support staff to participants based on skills, preferences, and support needs
  • Approve and confirm staff attendance
  • Collaborate with HR to identify and communicate recruitment needs
  • Work closely with Managers to review and update rosters
  • Train new support staff on Myxa's rostering processes and procedures

About the role

The Rostering Officer plays a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations through effective coordination of staff schedules. You will be responsible for building rosters that align with participant needs, solving scheduling challenges, and ensuring service continuity.
