Job summary

Baker McKenzie is seeking an Intake Supervisor to lead the New Business Intake (NBI) team. The role focuses on efficient client onboarding while ensuring compliance with ethical and legal duties, including conflicts analysis and anti-money laundering controls.

The incumbent will guide Partners and in-market offices, ensuring timely submissions and quality service. Based in Manila, this hybrid role involves supervising staff, mentoring on regulatory duties, and coordinating with the global NBI

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required and relevant professional experience.
Proven supervisory or people-management experience.
Experience in operations management within a professional service environment is a plus.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Supervise the NBI Intake Tampa team including daily assignment of work and ensure all checks are completed.
Provide guidance on compliance with ethical and legal duties to avoid conflicts of interest.
Maintain performance against KPIs and SLA targets (2 business days).
Mentor staff on compliance with Attorney Manual and AML/KYC guidelines.
Coordinate with global center peers to align processes and reporting.
Develop training and coaching to improve team capabilities and outcomes.
Handle resourcing, attendance, and administrative duties as required.
