Job summary

Fredley Group of Companies is seeking an Equipment Technician to ensure proper functioning, safety, and upkeep of facilities and store equipment across the brand portfolio. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems, and support multiple brands to maintain smooth operations.

The role requires a vocational/technical background in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Building Maintenance with 1–2 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a vocational or technical course in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Building Maintenance.
• 1–2 years of relevant maintenance experience, preferably in food and beverage or retail.
• Must be knowledgeable in repairing and troubleshooting Mixer, Fructose Machine, Water Heater, Ice Blender and Induction.
• Able to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
• Willing to travel to different store branches and work on flexible schedules as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance on store and office equipment such as HVAC units, lighting, exhaust systems, refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, and plumbing fixtures.
• Ensure facilities, utilities, and equipment are in good working condition to support daily operations.
• Perform minor carpentry, painting, and other building repairs when necessary.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and service calls from stores, warehouses, or office departments.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, or plumbing issues to minimize operational downtime.
• Coordinate with external contractors or suppliers for major repairs or specialized technical work.
• Implement and monitor preventive maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance and avoid unexpected breakdowns.
• Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and supplies necessary for repair and maintenance tasks.
• Keep detailed records of completed maintenance work, materials used, and schedules followed.
• Adhere to company safety policies and ensure that all work complies with local building and safety regulations.
• Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Support sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives within company facilities.
• Prepare and submit maintenance reports, service logs, and accomplishment updates to the Maintenance Supervisor or Facilities Manager.
• Assist in facility inspections, store openings, renovations, and improvement projects.
• Coordinate with Operations, HR, and Admin departments for maintenance-related concerns or requests.
