Job summary

Fredley Group of Companies seeks a Lead Engineer – Project Management to oversee engineering and construction for new stores, renovations, and major equipment installs. You will lead cross‑functional coordination with Operations, Finance, Procurement, Marketing, and external contractors to ensure timely, on‑budget delivery.

The role requires strong knowledge of construction management, building systems, and regulatory compliance, with 5–8 years in related fields.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering.
• Licensed Engineer preferred.
• 5–8 years in project management, construction, or engineering operations.
• Experience in retail or food & beverage is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of construction management, building systems, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management for store construction, fit-outs, renovations, and upgrades.
• Develop timelines, budgets, scope of work, and resource plans.
• Monitor progress and ensure milestones are met on time.
• Identify risks and implement corrective actions to avoid delays or overruns.
• Oversee contractor, supplier, and consultant coordination and performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety, codes, and permit requirements.
