Job summary

BDO Network Bank is seeking an Account Officer for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in the Philippines. The role focuses on achieving loan volume targets while maintaining profitability, sound credit quality, and excellent customer service.

You will actively solicit microfinance loan accounts through field visits, assess applicant qualifications, initiate credit and collection activities, and coordinate with related units to process and service loans.

Qualifications

• Four-year or five-year degree required.
• Strong selling, communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to work in the field on a daily basis.
• Basic mathematical knowledge.
• Familiar with word processing and spreadsheets.
• Fieldwork and sales experience in microfinance is a plus.
• Motorcycle driving is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Solicit microfinance loan accounts through field visits to meet business needs.
• Analyze loan applicants' qualifications to determine feasibility of granting loans.
• Initiate credit and collection activities to ensure credit quality of accounts.
• Coordinate with officers and units related to processing and servicing of loan applications and loan clients.
• Review and update customer loan files, loan agreements, etc. to ensure adequacy for credit processing and loan booking.
• Execute sales and/or marketing activities to achieve volume targets.
