Job summary

Sultan Kudarat Milling and Trading Inc. seeks a qualified Motor Pool Maintenance Supervisor to lead daily maintenance activities, oversee preventive upkeep, and supervise technical staff in Laguna.

The role includes conducting toolbox meetings, evaluating performance, and ensuring safety compliance. The ideal candidate holds a mechanical engineering degree with 3–4 years of relevant experience, strong leadership, and a valid driver’s license; SMART Driving Certificate is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3–4 years of experience as a Motor Pool Maintenance Supervisor or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of truck maintenance, fleet operations, and preventive maintenance.
• Proven leadership and supervisory experience in managing technical personnel.
• Valid Professional Driver's License (Restrictions/Classes 1, 2, 3 and/or 1, 2, 3, 8).
• SMART Driving Certificate or equivalent test-driving certification is an advantage.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily motor pool maintenance operations and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Conduct toolbox meetings, assign work, and monitor task completion.
• Oversee preventive maintenance and repair of trucks and equipment.
• Manage inventory of tools, spare parts, and maintenance equipment.
• Ensure rescue team readiness for vehicle breakdowns and emergencies.
• Review and approve repair job orders and spare parts requests.
• Conduct driver assessments and provide training as needed.
• Evaluate the performance and quality of work of maintenance personnel.
• Perform scheduled safety inspections and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Investigate issues involving fuel, tires, batteries, and spare parts, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare maintenance reports and perform other duties as assigned.
