Job summary

Seafoods Varities Corp. is seeking a field- based General Trade sales professional to prospect and acquire new customers, present and sell SVC products, and manage ongoing relationships. You will work directly with business owners and decision-makers, arranging timely orders and repeat business.

The role emphasizes strong prospecting and closing skills, travel within the assigned territory, and ability to work independently. Prior success in frozen/fish product distribution is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales experience in General Trade or FMCG, food distribution, or related industries.
• Experience selling to sari-sari stores, restaurants, cafés, or small businesses is a plus.
• Strong prospecting, negotiation, communication and closing skills.

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Manage customer accounts, take orders, follow up on inquiries, and identify upselling opportunities
• Negotiate pricing and order quantities within company guidelines and close sales
• Develop assigned territories and continuously identify new sales opportunities
• Coordinate with Storage and Logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery
• Monitor competitor pricing, customer demand, and market trends
• Submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and field activity updates
• Assist in monitoring customer payments and collections

About you

• At least 2 years of sales experience in General Trade, FMCG, Frozen Products, food distribution, or related industries preferred
• Experience selling to sari-sari stores, restaurants, cafés, food stalls, resellers, or other small businesses is an advantage
• Strong prospecting, negotiation, communication, and closing skills
• Comfortable with field sales and face-to-face customer engagement
• Results-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently
• Familiarity with frozen fish products is a plus
• Willing to travel within the assigned territory
• Valid driver's license is an advantage
• Bachelor's degree is preferred; relevant sales experience will be considered
