Job summary

Seafoods Varities Corp. is seeking a results‑driven field sales professional in the Philippines to grow General Trade by visiting sari-sari stores, restaurants, and other small businesses, presenting SVC products, and building lasting relationships with owners and buyers.

You will manage accounts, take orders, negotiate pricing, and coordinate with logistics to ensure timely deliveries. This role requires travel within the assigned territory and a bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales experience in General Trade or FMCG.
• Experience selling to sari-sari stores, restaurants, and small businesses.
• Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Field sales mindset with face-to-face engagement.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant sales experience considered.

About the role

Prospect and acquire new General Trade customers through field visits and direct selling. Present and sell SVC products to business owners and purchasing decision-makers. Build and maintain strong customer relationships and generate repeat orders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage customer accounts, take orders, follow up on inquiries, and identify upselling opportunities
• Negotiate pricing and order quantities within company guidelines and close sales
• Develop assigned territories and continuously identify new sales opportunities
• Coordinate with Storage and Logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery
• Monitor competitor pricing, customer demand, and market trends
• Submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and field activity updates
• Assist in monitoring customer payments and collections

About you

• At least 2 years of sales experience in General Trade, FMCG, Frozen Products, food distribution, or related industries preferred
• Experience selling to sari-sari stores, restaurants, cafés, food stalls, resellers, or other small businesses is an advantage
• Strong prospecting, negotiation, communication, and closing skills
• Comfortable with field sales and face-to-face customer engagement
• Results-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently
• Familiarity with frozen fish products is a plus
• Willing to travel within the assigned territory
• Valid driver's license is an advantage
• Bachelor's degree is preferred; relevant sales experience will be considered
