Qualifications

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in loan processing, mortgage brokerage support, or lending operations.
Knowledge of the loan process from start to finish: document collection, credit assessment, valuations, and submission.
Experience running servicing calculations and comparing lender products.
Ability to write loan summaries and recommendations.
Confident with CRM and data entry; quick to master new platforms.
Excellent written English for professional client-facing emails.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy with financial documents and figures.
Proactive and self-starting; able to own a file and move it forward without step-by-step guidance.
Focused, dependable, and capable of working independently.
Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assess new client files, supporting documents, and scenario summaries provided by the broker.
Research and benchmark lender products to identify the strongest loan options for each client.
Run servicing and serviceability calculations, including buffer assessments, across shortlisted lenders.
Draft clear loan option summaries and recommendations for broker review before they are shared with the client.
Enter data carefully and lodge loan applications in the CRM system.
Gather required documents from clients by email while keeping the broker copied on all messages.
Chase outstanding documents and details so applications stay on track.
Support credit assessment and valuation requirements through submission.
Keep digital client files and application records organized and up to date.
Put forward ideas to improve current processes and workflows.
