Job summary

Optimus Executive Search Solutions Inc. is seeking a Channel Sales Associate – Modern Trade to manage and grow relationships with modern trade accounts in Mandaluyong.

You will ensure product visibility, drive sales targets, and coordinate with buyers for listings, promotions, and pricing across supermarkets and retail chains. The role requires 1–3 years in channel sales or related fields, a Bachelor’s degree, and strong communication and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in channel sales, account management, or modern trade operations.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain relationships with modern trade accounts and retail partners.
• Achieve sales targets, distribution goals, and account growth objectives.
• Coordinate with buyers and category managers regarding product listings, promotions, pricing, and merchandising activities.
• Ensure optimal product availability, shelf visibility, and in-store execution across assigned accounts.
• Monitor stock levels, replenishment, and inventory movements to prevent out-of-stock situations.
• Conduct regular store visits and market checks to evaluate product placement and retail trends.
• Prepare sales forecasts, account reports, and performance analyses; collaborate on promotions and product launches.
• Support negotiations for display opportunities, trade promotions, and expansion initiatives.
• Maintain strong customer relationships while representing the company’s sustainability and social impact mission.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, retail standards, and account requirements.
