Job summary

8990 Housing Development Corporation is seeking a capable MIS/IT Officer to maintain IT systems, support users, and ensure secure, reliable operations across the organization. You will handle hardware, software, and networking issues, troubleshoot problems, and help implement improvements.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in IT or CS and at least one year of IT support or system administration experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of IT support, helpdesk, or system administration experience.
• Experience handling hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Familiarity with server monitoring and CCTV systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support for MS Office, Operating Systems, SAP, and Employee Attendance System.
• Respond to and resolve IT-related issues raised by users in a timely manner.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot IT systems and devices.
• Coordinate repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance for IT equipment.
• Monitor and maintain network infrastructure to ensure stability and performance.
• Maintain MIS equipment inventory and track hardware/software assets with documentation.

The MIS/IT Officer is responsible for providing technical assistance, maintaining IT systems, and ensuring the smooth operation of all IT-related resources across the organization. This role supports software, hardware, networking, and reporting requirements while ensuring systems are secure, reliable, and up to date.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support for MS Office, Operating Systems, SAP, and Employee Attendance System.
• Respond to and resolve IT-related issues raised by users in a timely manner.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot.
• Coordinate repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance for IT equipment.
• Monitor and maintain network infrastructure.
• Ensure stable and secure network performance.
• Monitor all IT-related materials and equipment.
• Maintain MIS equipment inventory (quarterly or as needed).
• Track hardware and software assets and ensure accurate documentation.

Qualifications
